Our Newtownards branch has been a fixture in the community since 1977, originally established as Mr. Bailies practice on Pound Street. We relocated to the old High Street practice in 1982 and underwent a major refurbishment in late 2021, reopening our doors in early 2022.
The branch is led by Branch Manager Debbie B, a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in the optical industry. Debbie B originally working with our Holywood Arches practice and has since been with the Newtownards branch for 21years. With over 2 decades of managerial experience Debbie prides herself in building confidence and trust in the practice, by striving for a top-notch customer experience and harbouring community values.
Our team is rounded out by Dispensing Assistants Olivia and Heather. Pamela joined Mackey Opticians in 2021 and brings 12 years of optical experience to the team. Heather is a recent addition to the practice with 22 years of experience in the optical industry.
