Hello, we’re Mackey Opticians Portadown.
We are a family business supported by a friendly professional team that caters for all your optical needs. Our resident Optometrist and manager Elaine, and assistants Caroline, Ciara and Rachel will be very happy to look after you and your eyes.
We offer comprehensive eye examinations, contact lens fitting and aftercare, as well as N.I. Pears emergency appointments. Newest developments such as OCT examinations and myopia management lenses are available.
We carry a wide range of frames including designer brands Guess, Ray-Ban, Oakley, Police, Gant, Calvin Klein Jeans, DKNY, Superdry and Radley, amongst others. We also have our essential eyewear range, to suit all styles and budgets. So, whether you're after a classic look, something bolder, or different pairs we've got you covered. Safety glasses and sports glasses are also options, and we are happy to discuss all your needs and options with you.
We love being part of the Portadown community and you may have seen us at some school talks. When you're not at Mackey’s having your eyes tested, be sure to check out the local shops, boutiques, coffee shops and even take a walk around Peoples Park or along the River Bann pathway.
We are in the High Street Mall opposite the train station. Car parking is available in the High Street Mall car park, along the main street and in Magowan buildings.
Appointments are normally available Monday to Saturday and we try to reserve a few free appointments for emergencies. You can make an appointment by calling in, emailing, or phone us at 028 3839 2424.
